Thoughtful, individualized therapy for meaningful and lasting change
I offer therapy for individuals, children, adolescents, adults and families with a focus on helping clients navigate life transitions, understand emotional patterns, and create lasting change.
My approach is active, collaborative, and deeply attuned. I integrate psychodynamic therapy with experiential methods (including ISTDP and AEDP) and art therapy, tailoring each treatment to the unique needs of the client.
Sessions are available in person in Rockland County and Manhattan, as well as virtually across New York State.
What I Offer
Individual Therapy
A space to slow down, reflect, and work through the patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate to others.
Individual therapy can help you:
Navigate life transitions such as college, parenthood, divorce, midlife, or retirement
Understand recurring emotional or relationship patterns
Work through anxiety, uncertainty, or feeling “stuck”
Develop greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding
This work goes beyond insight alone, focusing on meaningful emotional change.
Experiential Therapy
Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) & Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)
Experiential therapy is a hands-on, emotion-focused approach designed to help you access, understand, and transform the feelings that drive patterns in your life. Unlike therapy that focuses mainly on talking, experiential therapies engage both the mind and the body, helping you work directly with emotions that may be stuck, overwhelming, or difficult to express.
I integrate ISTDP and AEDP to support deep, meaningful change. These experiential therapies allow us to work in real time with your emotional experience. Clients often report experiencing:
Relief from chronic anxiety or emotional tension
Greater emotional clarity and self-understanding
Improved relationships and communication
Enhanced resilience and ability to cope with life transitions
Lasting behavioral and emotional change
Art Therapy for Children, Adolescents, Adults and Families
A creative and powerful way to explore emotions, identity, and life experiences
Therapy isn’t always just about talking. Art therapy offers a unique and powerful way to explore emotions, process experiences, and gain insight. Clients often have emotions that are difficult to put into words. Art therapy provides a safe, creative, and structured way to access these feelings and work through them in a meaningful way.
Art therapy can be especially helpful when feelings are difficult to put into words. It offers:
A nonverbal pathway to expression and understanding
A way to process complex or overwhelming experiences
Increased self-awareness and emotional clarity
I work with children, adolescents, adults and families, adapting the approach to each individual.
Child & Adolescent Therapy
Supporting emotional growth, resilience, and connection
Children and adolescents often experience emotions and challenges they don’t yet have the tools to fully express or manage. Therapy provides a safe, supportive environment where they can explore their inner world and develop healthier ways of coping.
I integrate talk therapy, experiential approaches, and art and play therapy to meet each child or adolescent where they are.
I work with young clients experiencing:
Anxiety, worry, or emotional overwhelm
School or peer-related challenges
Family changes, including separation or divorce
Difficulty regulating emotions
Withdrawal, irritability, or behavioral changes
Parent collaboration is an important part of this work, helping to support progress beyond the therapy room.
Clinical Supervision & Consultation
Thoughtful, collaborative supervision for developing clinicians
I offer clinical supervision and consultation for therapists seeking to deepen their clinical work, strengthen their skills, and grow with greater confidence and clarity.
My approach to supervision is active, engaged, and supportive. I aim to create a space where you can think freely, explore challenges, and develop your clinical voice while feeling both supported and appropriately challenged.
Working Together
Each therapy process is individualized, thoughtful, and paced according to your needs and goals. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, therapy offers an opportunity to better understand your experience and create meaningful change.
If you’re considering therapy, I invite you to reach out to discuss what you’re looking for and whether this feels like the right fit.
