About Me

I am a therapist who believes that real change happens when we can safely experience and process what has felt overwhelming, confusing, or out of reach.

My work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, which explores how past experiences shape present patterns, and in experiential approaches like Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) which focus on helping you access and move through emotions in real time. I also incorporate art therapy as a way to access, express and understand feelings that may be difficult to put into words.

I am an active and engaged therapist. Rather than sitting back, I work collaboratively with you—helping you notice patterns as they happen, gently challenging what keeps you stuck, and supporting you in building new ways of relating to yourself and others.

I often work with people in periods of transition, times when something in life is shifting, ending, or beginning, and the way forward feels unclear. These moments often bring more than just practical change. They can stir up deeper questions about identity, relationships, and direction. You may notice old patterns resurfacing or feel emotions that are difficult to understand or manage on your own.

I also specialize in reunification therapy, working with families navigating estrangement, high-conflict dynamics, or disrupted parent-child relationships. This work requires care, structure, and sensitivity to each person’s experience, with the goal of rebuilding trust and connection when possible.

I work with clients in person in both Rockland County and Manhattan, and virtually across New York State. This flexibility allows us to create a consistent and accessible space for therapy, whether you prefer meeting face-to-face or from the comfort of your home.
